Best gel nail kit for home?

I've started having my nails done with gel and love it. I'd like to do it at home rather than keep paying ££ for it though. Can anyone recommend a good starter kit? Should I go for LED rather than UV lamp? I saw Sensationail recommended - is there a better one? There's a NKY1 UV kit on Amazon for £99 with good reviews . Budget's around £100 max. Thanks.

Thanks for replying, I think I just need to stop looking at all the different ones and just get on with it!

I would recommend getting the sensationail kit from boots, then buy your polishes from bluesky (available on eBay)

Thank you.

Just be careful using different branded polishes and lamps. The Bluesky cures at 36w (uv) but the sensationail lamp is only 7w (led). Whilst the polish can appear cured it may not be fully cured and this can lead to adverse reactions.

Can't comment on the lamp because I bought a CND one years ago & it's still working, but it was expensive

If you get the Bluesky polishes from e-bay, you can buy a "non-wipe" top coat, so that saves a bit of cash.

I have a uv lamp but each coat takes 2 minutes to dry, which is a long time for base, a couple of coats of colour and top coat. I'd go for led next time.
Bluesky polishes are fab. Also get the nail clips from amazon for holding on the remover soaked pads for taking polish off - much easier than trying to wrap fingernails in tin foil!
