Eyebrows

My eyebrows are ok. A bit of plucking and they're neat ish. But they're just there. If I get them waxed they still don't look as nice as others!
How do you get them looking natural, groomed and nice coloured without doing the HD look which I really don't like?
Thanks!

Forgot to mention - if I use a pencil I just end up looking silly! Make up & beauty really not my forte....

You need a pencil or brow powder to get the full healthy brow look. If it looks silly perhaps the colour isn't right. I found one that perfectly matches the ash blonde of my brows and was amazed at the difference it makes.

I get mine threaded.

Takes her 2 minutes to do, and then I intensify them a little with a bit of eyeshadow (from tje urban decay nude palette).

paceyswife · 05/05/2018 09:19

I have mine threaded and tinted and then use a pencil to fill in gaps

UnimaginativeUsername · 05/05/2018 09:23

I find that getting them tinted makes a big difference.

I got an eyebrow pencil by NYX, it has a pencil at one end and one of those spoolie brush things at the other end. I really like it, it only cost £10 and they do a lot of shades, and it's very forgiving as I can just brush and fade it if I put too much on etc.

Ruddyuseless · 05/05/2018 11:57

Definitely get them threaded

Evangeline3 · 05/05/2018 12:01

I thread my eyebrows and use a powder as I think it looks more natural. I don't put much at the beginning of the eyebrows but more the ends.

Boy Brow by Glossier. It's the business.

Applied with a £1.50 brush from primark, better than products I’ve used from Clinique for my brows

Thank you all!

What's wrong with the HD look? If you mean you don't like thick heavy brows, then that's not what HD Brows is at all. I have gorgeous HD brows, they look very natural. I use a Bobbi Brown eyebrow palette most days to make them a bit darker and more defined but if I don't do that, they still look great. People compliment them.

The only thing with HD is that I could never go back to not having them done, nice brows are addictive...

I get mine threaded and tinted. Find it works well.
I used to get HD brows done regularly but I took a bad reaction to them once so had to stop. I miss them though.... Great results!
