I am of-a-certain-age (ancient) and when I'm brave enough to stare too close in a magnifying mirror , I see I have SF.

I've started using glycolic peel (either the pads or gel) at night .
What else will work?

I've got some Paulas Choice 2% BHA (bought for DS) is that better?

TIA

You're lucky!!

I can see mine in a regular mirror.

I have them on my nose and on either side of my nose.

From having looked into it a while back, I don't think you can permanently remove them as they are supposed to be there. You can squueze them empty but they will re-fill in the following days or you can use Biore nose strips for blackheads which will also pull them out but again they will re-fill.

The Paula's Choice has worked well for me.

My skin seems to like quite a heavy moisturiser over the top, presumably because the filaments are the skin trying to create its own oil because there isn't enough. Or something! Adding moisturiser means it doesn't need to.

The glycolic should sort them without having to do much besides normal cleansing, or at least it does mine.
