Itchy feet in warm weather

As soon as the weather warms up and particularly when I'm wearing shoes with bare feet I get some little red dots on the soles of my feet that itch and the skin gets a bit flakey. It's like athletes foot but on the sole not between toes.
It seems to happen when I wear thin tights to work or with bare feet. I don't get in winter or when I wear socks.
Anyone else get this? Wondering if athletes foot powder would help..

Sounds like athletes foot, you can get it on the soles of your feet as well as in between your toes.I once got it from a swimming pool and it was so bad that the sole of my foot cracked!
I'd try the powder and breathable shoes/sandals, make sure you wash your feet a few times a day as well. It sounds like your feet cant breathe and thats why your getting it.

When I had the cracked foot I got tablets off the Drs it was that bad. I couldnt stop scratching it,used to rub my foot on the carpet for relief. I think they were either an antifungal tablet of some sort or an antibiotic.
If you get it again despite using the foot powder etc then I'd go to the Drs. Its a serious matter because it can get really painfull if left untreated.
