I want to buy my 15 year old a makeup lesson for her birthday in a couple of months. Live near Warrington so can access Warrington, Trafford Centre/ Manchester. Can anybody recommend somebody? Or the best counter? Have had Mac and Bobbi Brown mentioned. Help would be great :-)

I did a 90 minute one with Mac at Selfridges London. Was interesting but what looked great in the store under fake lighting did not look good when I saw myself in natural daylight - the foundation was way too dark. Other bits were ok. It introduced me to highlighter which I now adore.
You pay £50 I think for the lesson but that is deducted from your make up bill. So basically the session is free as long as you buy £50 worth of product or more.

Bobbi Brown are great, nice and natural and make up lesson is free but it’s a very premium brand for a teenager (possibly that’s not an issue in which case go for it!)

My friend had a great session at Urban Decay, which might be more appropriate for a teenager.
