In navy. Will wait for sale but thoughts? I was put off by care label as even though 100% cotton (so you expect handwash) there's lots of stuff like: colour may transfer, dry flat, store flat, iron with steam only, no pressure... Anyhow, would love to know what others think of it as a throw-on-with-anything item for cooler summer days. Thanks.

Its lovely!

lizabes · 04/05/2018 14:32

It's nice but unremarkable.
Can't see what makes it worth £90

neveradullmoment99 · 04/05/2018 14:46

Its a lovely shape but way overpriced i agree!

goose1964 · 04/05/2018 20:21

My gran would have worn this, she wasn't known for her sartorial choices

Brummiegirl15 · 04/05/2018 21:00

I really like it, and I'm a massive MV fan, but again it's £90 for a 100% cotton cardigan

fascinated · 04/05/2018 21:02

Expensive!!!

fascinated · 04/05/2018 21:02

That’s the second post about expensive mint velvet items I’ve seen this week!

FriendlyOcelot · 04/05/2018 21:03

It’s pretty innocuous to me!

Brummiegirl15 · 04/05/2018 21:07

Mint Velvet is really expensive, but they have decent sales plus fair few offers.

At moment code Holiday15 offers 15% discount and free next day delivery

elQuintoConyo · 04/05/2018 21:10

A bit bland. And fir 90 whole quid? Shock

PingPongBat · 04/05/2018 21:15

Lovely, but a lot of ££ for a cotton cardi. I wouldn't pay full price for it, even though mint velvet is good quality.

Bluntness100 · 04/05/2018 21:16

I think this depends on who you are. If you're like the model, tall and slim, and quite well dressed, you can probably get away with it and maybe even make it look good.

Anyone else and above a certain age, it's going to look like the ubiquitous old lady cardigan.

Vv overpriced try uniqlo for similar 100 percent cotton card is

Ginpasta · 04/05/2018 21:18

I like it but wouldn't pay £90 for it xx

Ellapaella · 04/05/2018 21:20

Similar in Hollister for only £29. I bought this (in grey but they have in darker colour) when I was in Hollister buying shirts for ds last week. It's a great cardigan, very flattering fit.
The mint velvet one seems very overpriced. https://www.hollisterco.com/shop/uk/p/ribbed-boyfriend-cardigan-10937831?categoryId=85722&seq=01&ofp=true

AmericanBiscuits · 04/05/2018 21:25

I am well disappointed...I thought I would see a mint-coloured velvet cardigan Blush

toomanyeastereggsurghh · 04/05/2018 21:50

Love it! But then I love big cardi’s, mint velvet and waffle knit! The care concerns wouldn’t bother me at all, I own loads of mint velvet stuff and it is excellent quality and really lasts. I’m going to be keeping an eye on the sales for this one as I do agree £90 is a bit much for it.
Btw - that hollister one is nothing like it!
