I'm pleasantly surprised by 'Try Tuesday'

I came across Try Tuesday when was looking for an online stylist who sends you a box of clothes based on your likes body shape etc as I hate shopping and am clueless.

It's a M&S based stylist so thought I'd give it a go thinking it would be dire but I've been pleasantly surprised! A lady gave me 3 outfits, I tweaked a couple of pieces but overall I was impressed with what she came up with.

Anyone else tried this?

It wouldn't interest me, there isn't enough in M&S that I like and the quality isn't great.
Most people myself included have too many clothes.

I've signed up after it was recommended on here.

Not actually bought anything from M&S as its all polyester and vastly overpriced at that Hmm However I've used the wardrobe ideas and bought similar from Sainsburys and H&M!!

I tried it but everything they suggested was truly hideous !

I think it’s good in terms of they’ve got my style spot on - it’s bad for them as that means I already have similar. I’ve bought a couple of things though.

I quite liked it although I would say it was difficult to communicate just how casual my lifestyle as a sahm actually is. I bought a couple of things and it did make me re evaluate my wardrobe. I had a couple of great pairs of wide legged trousers/culottes from M&S recently, great to see them back!

I've just signed up to this and today had my first recommendations.

Maybe it's me, but as a plus sized person with an enormous arse the last thing I would wear would be:

  • white/cream trousers
  • a white spotted sack shapeless kaftan/maxi dress

White is pretty much a no go anyway with my kids, no matter what size my arse.

I'm hoping that I get better suggestions next time.
