Skincare for red uneven skin tone

Hi

I have pale skin and my skin tone is uneven, my skin has a tendency to look red in places. I also get break outs, mainly on my chin and cheeks. I'm in my early 30s.

My current skin care routine involves cleansing at night with a lush facial cleanser (let the good times roll), and in the morning I wash my face with water in the shower and apply a basic moisturiser.

My routine is not helping my skin. Any recommendations or tips?

Try the Avene antirouger range. You can get them from Boots. I use the cleanser, mask and moisturiser and they really work on my oversensitive skin (I have to take my own pillowcases to hotels as my skin goes blotchy and red if their covers are too rough!)

Water doesn’t wash your face. I have the same red blotchy skin and since starting a proper routine I have noticed a huge difference.

Rose based cleansers and toners are great for red skin. Don’t use anything foaming as it strips sensitive skin too much. Use a cleanser toner and moisturise in the morning. Use a cleanser serum and moisturiser in r evening. You’ll notice a difference I promise.

Ooh and don’t forget a high spf. La Roche Possay are brilliant.
