Long sleeves for summer

Help! I have to wear long sleeves all year round as self harmed 20 years ago and still paying the price!

Obviously in this country it only becomes an issue in the summer - has anyone seen any nice lightweight long sleeve tops? Can't wear cardigans all summer long. I thought about a white cotton shirt undone over a vest top? Anyone seen anything summery with sleeves?
Am 5ft4 and size 10

Hi, I popped in to Next the other day and they had some nice lightweight summery tops with long sleeves. Also the Emma Willis range in there had some lovely shirts

M+S will always have long sleeved blouses. Monsoon is great if you like Boho stuff.

There's also a silky utility shirt in H+M that I'm going to be living in this summer. So light and easy.

What about those flimsy veil type material ponchos. I had one last year that was like a very light jacket. I used it to provide more coverage but be cool still.

Not sure poncho will work it needs to have full sleeves to wrist

Shirts with the sleeves pushed up/cuffed as far as you feel comfortable with. Maybe add chunky bracelets/stacked bracelets if you'd like.

I think a shirt over a top sounds good - also, it seems it is back in to tie the shirt, which you may like?

I have big surgical scars, and use Wingz to add sleeves to short sleeve tops. The lace ones are really pretty and you can't see my big dark scars under them

Thanks some great ideas - have ordered a cotton shirt so far and will see how that looks - tying it up might look quite cool! And cover my stomach?!

I have bought some wingz in the past but found them to not fit very well and the join show - think bought too large a size...

I saw some lovely long sleeved shirts in Asda George and some were in linen which will keep you cooler in the summer months.
