Can anyone recommend any nice dark blue going out jeans, the type you’d wear with stilleto type shoes please.
I’m a size 16/18 and mid 50’s

What kind of fit? Skinny, slim, etc

RaspberryFlump · 03/05/2018 18:15

I’m not sure really. I tend to go for straight, but I don’t know if a slimmer bootleg would look better with heels.

It also depends on how much you want to spend.

I think Paige jeans are lovely, but they are £££

I would personally avoid a dark bootleg as looks dated. Try a straight leg or a slim turned up a little with jeans. Next have a good selection in 16-18.

Actually, I think boot cut is now less dated than skinny. After 10 years of skinny it's gone full circle.

ImgoingtoSHABOOMS · 04/05/2018 06:14

Mulberry is right re skinny looking dated too. I think a nice slim or straight leg would be the way to go.

mercurymaze · 04/05/2018 08:40

I can't see them on there anymore but the mini boot cut look good and similar

Dark wide leg are good, but IMO (though not according to dedicated followers of fashion or the current editorials) they need to cover most of your shoe to look elegant on a person of mature years. It also helps to be tallish.
