I have a really spotty back and spots wear my bra straps go over my shoulder. What can I do to get rid of them. I shower everyday, exfoliate, rinse loads but they are still there. Any advice please?

If you wash your hair and leave conditioner in it goes on your back and creates spots. I would do this then exfoliate so didn't think was a problem. Then I didn't let my hair touch my back and spots cleared.

Are your bra straps too tight. Mabey you could change it and wear a cotton soft bra.

I suppose it depends what type of spots too.

How bad are they? If you have lots it might be worth seeing your GP to try medication (pill, antibiotics, roaccutane etc).

I second Polkadotwellies' advice - wash and condition your hair first, then wash away any excess product that might have got on to your back.

Roaccutane is the only thing that's really completely cleared my spots though. Do you get them elsewhere? Would it be an option for you?

I suffer occasionally, a bridal shop owner told me me to use Boots Tea tree oil wipes (green packet). They work really well to clear up any spots. I always have a packet spare just in case. 😀

Dd suffered with this. I got her some tea tree body wash from Bodyshop which worked a treat.

See your Gp, there's plenty of things they can try to help you out.
Pp mentioned roaccutane but that's only prescribed by a dermatologist and dermatology won't see you until you've tried Gp options first. I've been on it and it's not a pleasant drug but it does work if nothing else does.
But please see your Gp, don't suffer.
