What to do with my hair.

I have thick brown medium length hair. For work I normally do a pony tail or plait but I want something more exciting but still professional. The only issue is my arms ache if I keep them above my head for long periods of time so I'm not good at so NG my own hair. Any ideas?

I think a french plait or dutch braid always looks nice, think it makes your cheekbones kind of 'pop'! Or maybe a low sleek bun? No parting or middle parting, smoothed to the head and just twisted into a knot or bun at the base can look classy. Also I love an artfully messy high bun, with a few tendrils out round the front. You tube have some brilliant updo videos.
