Backpack

I'm looking for a backpack to use mostly for overnight stays so nothing too big but I need it to be comfortable on my back and durable for travel on bus, tube and planes. Any recommendations - I did look at the Longchamp ones that cost £65.00 but read a review that said the straps weren't comfy.

How about an Antler backpack?

The longchamp ones I find comfortable but they are tiny!

Does it need to look fashionable or can it look ‘travelly’?

Thanks for all your suggestion. I looked at the dimensions of the Longchamp and yes it probably would be on the smallish side maybe too small. Will take a look at Antler. I do want it to look more fashionable than travelly.

Depends on your budget - if a small budget you can’t go wrong with an Eastpak, but if more extravagant I’d get a Coach Bleeker backpack.

Ally Capellino?
It’s not fashionable, but a Herschel in a subdued colour is neutral and roomy. Straps v comfortable.

Kanken bags have been in for a while but not good for overnight loads, as the straps are not padded.
