What was the cheap mascara everyone was recommending the other week?

Was it collection 2000? I remember some talk about it

I just googled, collection lash surge! I haven't tried it but people seemed to be quite enthusiastic

I bought the Collection Lash Surge on the recommendation on here and love it . I have spent a fortune over the years in pursuit of the perfect mascara and it is amazing , especially at the price point .

I like rimmel wonderfull, have repeat purchased many times.

Dunno if it's the one you mean but after years of expensive mascaras I saw all the noise online about essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect and it's bloody brill. £3.50 ish from Wilko.

I recommended Collection Lash Surge at £4 as a Lancome Hypnose dupe.

@Appolinare....it was me!! When they’re in 3 for 2 I stock up. I like the black brown for day and the black for night.

I bought the Lash Surge... Didn't like it! Went on nicely but it smudged on my oily eyelids.

I got the Collection Lash Surge, and I lasted 2 weeks with it before it went all gloopy on me. I chucked it in the end.

I'm liking the No. 7 one in the glittery gold tube at the moment, but am having a hankering to go back to my usual Clinique High Impact.

I wouldn't say it gives me a false lash effect, but at my age I wasn't really looking for that. It's a good basic mascara and it suits me fine.

Natural Collection (Boots brand) Long Lasting Foundation. Great reviews. I’ve not found oxidisation at all, as some say. £2.99. I have Chanel Les Beiges which takes a backseat, at the moment. Only downside....no spf but then I wear spf 25 in my moisturiser each day.

I personally found the lash surge one picked up too much product on the wand so I had super clumsy lashes.

Open to suggestions for other cruelty free cheapies though

Ditto cruelty free suggestions for mascara. I found bare faced minerals regular mascara good. But quite expensive

Oh dear, I must have been lucky with non clumping. I’ve had 6 or 7, they’ve been fine. I tried them initially because I wanted to bin them every 6 weeks or so and couldn’t justify it, with expensive mascaras.

I've bought the collection mascara that Aunty recommended and it's fabulous
I will never buy another Lancome mascara again.

I also bought the lash surge, bloody awful, heavy and gloopy.
Felt like I was putting treacle on my lashes.

With all mascaras I always scrape off most of it before applying and then build up thin layers . No glooping or clogging with the lash surge :)
