Are hush dresses only for very slim people?

I was thinking about whether to get one of these but wasn’t sure whether it suits slimmer people. I’m a 14.

Any thoughts?

I think it depends more on your body shape. I am a pear and they do nothing for me at all as I need something with a proper waist.

I agree, I’m an hourglass with thick thighs so the Tara dress for example is too short and too shapeless on top to suit.

There are different styles though, so some will suit some shapes, and others won’t!
So on me, the Jamie or Solana dresses, which are basically maxi tshirts that cling a bit, make me look like a snake that’s swallowed a melon - due to my lack of height and excessive tummy.
However, the Kensington shirt dress was v flattering.
Interestingly, I can also get away with Tara dress, which is the one with the ruched and v clingy skirt and oversized top half - I think it’s because of how it sits on me....as I mentioned I’m not a tall person Grin

I did get a lovely print dress with a waist there this winter, can’t remember the style or find it online. But the slouchy stuff does nothing for me!
