Does anyone do their own gel or shellac nails at home? I normally get mine done in a nail salon but am considering buying all the kit and doing my own.
I think I do quite a good job on my toes and they last quite a while with a normal nail polish although chips on my hands within a day or so.
That’s why I pay for gels as they do still look good a fortnight later. It’s more the hassle of having to book an appointment and the cost (£30 every time)
If you do your own, where do you buy your products (base coat and top coat, soak off stuff) and what UV lamp did you go for?
I’m thinking of investing in a few lighter/nude shades and maybe a deeper colour...any tips appreciated!
