Swimsuit or bikini for post c section body?

10 months post c section and despite having just about losing the baby weight I have an apron.

I don't own a swimming costume and inthe next few weeks will be going on a spa day and a week camping in France by the sea.

Can anyone recommend a flattering swimsuit for a size 12/14 post c section tummy?

Have just bought this m.boden.co.uk/en-gb/womens-swimwear/swimsuits/s0025/womens-maratea-swimsuit

It is super flattering. Pretty sturdy so may be good for your stomach (though am aware it isn't one of the secret slimming ones which I am sure would also work).

C sections have wrecked my stomach. Gutting as elsewhere is slim and toned (ish). I have an overhang and what I’ve found is:

  • losing too much weight made the overhang look worse and the skin like a deflated balloon.
  • the “ruched” costumes add 20 years to me and draw attention to what I’m trying to hide.
  • a plain black costume (I got a halter from Debenhams last year) seemed to look best.
  • no-ones evens looking at me anyway- so I bought a bikini from H&M recently with kind short/brief bottoms which are high enough to hide the overhang and actually look alright (see if I Have the guts to wear it on my upcoming holiday!!).

Good luck.

I’ve bought these plus there’s a choice of tops.
