The Ordinary “Buffet” + Copper Peptides 1%

Has anyone tried this yet?

It's not been out long and some of the reviews I have read seem to be raving about it.

I already use Buffet and it's really making a difference to my skin. This new product is more expensive, but apparently the copper helps with absorption.

Anyone tried it?

I’ve not tried it yet, but I’ve been using CAIS from their Niod line (1% copper peptides) followed by Buffet for over a year now, so the same thing essentially, and very happy with the results. Thrilled they’ve combined them into a cheaper product.

Thanks LtheWife

I've noticed a real improvement in my skin since starting using TO products too. Currently I have the 2% Retinoid in Squalene and the Lactic Acid 10% and Buffet. Buffet in particular seems to have improved the texture of my skin no end.

The main aim for me at the moment is trying to fade some brown spots on my face that appeared during my first pregnancy and never went. They get worse in the sun too, so am using a Clarins SPF 30 everyday now too.

Is the Vitamin C stuff meant to be good for fading brown spots too do you know?

Yes vitamin c is good for pigmentation.

I’m going to ask Dh to buy me the buffet with copper for my birthday. It’s meant to stimulate collagen production.

I have an led mask that does the same but I’d like to try the new buffet as my Estée Lauder advanced night repairs nearly gone.

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/06/2018 08:25

Dh ordered mine yesterday, anyone else using it?.

DavetheCat2001 · 04/06/2018 09:12

Yep I'm still using it and I think my skin is looking loads better.

I really rate the Retinoid too as whenever I use that at night my skin looks really smooth and glossy the following morning.

The Buffet with copper does have a horrible vinegary smell when you apply it to your face though, but it does dispel.

Let me know how you get on with it.

'glowy' not 'glossy'!! Grin

It’s a birthday present so I have to wait till the 1st to try it. I can live with a vinegar smell.

I use lots of The Ordinary products, but for copper would rather use Niod Cais, just because I'm terrified of facial hair growth (known side effect of Buffet for some users)

I use Matrixil +HA instead of Buffet for my peptide fix and love it!

DavetheCat2001 · 04/06/2018 18:08

eeek..hadn't heard about that LaLa!

Some people cleverly repurposed theirs for their eyebrows!
