Is ELANR really worth the hype or would Trilogy rosehip oil be just as good? Thank you 😊

Well, they're two different things, so you can't really compare them.

The ANR is a serum full of bits and bobs and the facial oil is just a facial oil. Depends on your skin as well. Rosehip is suggested for early aging and fine lines, and not such dry skin.

I haven't tried either, but I've used other rosehips and found them meh- my skin needs a richer oil (I've tried loads, Decleor, L'Occitane Divine, Liz Earle, Neal's Yard etc and the best I've found for me is the Body Shop Oils of Life)

I've also just ordered the Korean skincare "dupe" of the ANR as I was tempted to splash out on the EL, but many skincare gurus reckon the Korean one is just as good.

I've been using a sample of the ANR and not seen any difference so I wouldn't bother purchasing

Apileofballyhoo · 28/04/2018 18:51

What's the dupe, Miss?
You might look at The Ordinary products, Full. The rosehip is much better value for one thing.

Leopoldstotch · 28/04/2018 18:53

Another one asking about the dupe miss I have very dry skin and also need richer products

goose1964 · 28/04/2018 19:00

I've tried trilogy rosehip oil, it left my skin very smooth ,but can't say much else about it

Chanelprincess · 28/04/2018 19:01

Trilogy is by far the best rosehip oil I've ever used. I think there are better products than ANR - it didn't make much difference to my skin.
As a PP said, they're two totally different things so you can't really compare them directly.

This is the Korean stuff. I can't comment on it yet as it hasn't arrived, but on the Korean skincare threads it gets a lot of love so I thought I'd have a punt!

I paid about 20 euro delivered btw.

Haven’t used ANR but I didn’t find the rosehip oil moisturising enough and it broke me out around the chin. Being late 50s I’ve not had a spot for many years but a week or two into the rosehip oil I had dry skin at the sides of my nose and w spotty chin.
