Is it a thin or thick parka? Can it be used in the summer?

I’m after a thin cotton parka with a lining that I can wear in the spring/summer/autumn.

I don't have it but I'm pretty sure it's a thick parka. Summer ones tend not to have fur around the hood.

I have one very similar from mint velvet but it's not cotton but still has fur good. It's lined but only with a thin cotton lining and is a good spring / autumn coat. It would not be warm enough for true winter but I wouldn't wear it in height of summer either mainly because of the style.

Thanks for your replies. It’s the fur round the neck that’s throwing me! I’ve rung the customer services dept and they have said it’s just cotton with no lining but it’s a thicker cotton. Why have they put fur on it beats me.

I've actually got this (also bought at half price!) and can confirm it's quite thin - wore it recent v cold weather and needed couple of layers underneath to keep warm.
Main issue is that the hood is HUGE - not sure if this is how all parka hoods work, but goes right over my head and beyond, so hard to see out (and also hard to keep on in wind). But for price I thought a useful item.

What’s the sizing like? I’ve ordered a 12 and 14 just in case

Sizing seems accurate to me (ie not ridiculously tiny). I have a 10. There's also a drawstring, so you can pull in at the waist to get tighter fit (when not wearing 2 jumpers!)

It says the fur is detachable

The trim is detachable so I guess it covers all angles ?
