Olaplex 3?

I have long thick hair with a lot of blonde highlighting. My hairdresser doesn’t use olaplex, is it worth buying olaplex 3 to use at home without having had 1&2 used in my hair? Thanks.

Would like to know this too. It's quite expensive so didn't want to get it if there was no point using it without step 1 or 2.

Exactly Venetian.... but I keep hearing such good things about it. Hopefully someone will advise us before I think ‘sod it’ and click the online order... Grin

Buy 1 and 2 and do the proper standalone treatment yourself at home. I have used a couple of different sellers on eBay just look for copious top feedback...these are mostly hairdressers buying in bulk then packaging for resale. You'll also need a dripper (not spray) bottle to mix up 1 with water before applying. I've done standalone treatments a few times now....it's very easy and gives great results. I have mid length hair and use half quantities...iirc it costs less than a fiver a go.

Thanks screen. Is it worth doing 3 too?

I used 3 as a standalone product when my hair was bleached. It's really good as bonding your hair and making it feel softer, very much like an intensive conditioner.

Sorry, I just noticed your question @Alienspaceship yes 3 is supposed to be good, but it's apparently just diluted 2!! It's the 1 that opens up the hair shaft apparently and for the 12 standalones I've done, you put (any) conditioner on top of you want...the olaplax isn't a conditioner and whilst 3 may feel lovely (never tried it but heard loads good things exactly as Era says) the 12 standalones doesn't leave it feeling conditioned so to speak; it leaves it feeling like "young" hair iykwim. Get all 3 and report back Grin
