Would this dress suit an hourglass shape?

Just saw this in the FCUK sale and very tempted... but not sure if it would do me any favours? As an hourglass shape, I usually wear clothes with a defined waist, and am a bit worried this would just make me look giant and frumpy. I'm also not 5'10" like the model Confused

I don't think it would make the most of your figure. Are you a very slim hourglass? If so I think it might be ok, but if you are larger I don't think it would work.

I have an hourglass figure and I wouldn't wear that, it's not shaped in the slightest, you're at risk of looking like a flump.

I'm can't see why hot , it looks classier in the dark magenta though

mimibunz · 27/04/2018 23:01

If you are a slim hourglass, then yes. Also you would want killer legs.

SansaClegane · 27/04/2018 23:06

Thanks for talking sense into me, I'll leave it then!
I was just drawn to the floaty shininess of it Grin and the fact that it looks a bit different. Agree that the magenta looks nicer but a) I'm auburn so it doesn't go well with my colouring and b) that colour is out of stock!
And sadly I definitely don't have killer legs.

Plus, I don't really have an occasion to wear anything like this to anyway
* sigh*

I guess I was just daydreaming!

I add a belt to shapeless dresses! Doesn't always work though.

peachypetite · 28/04/2018 09:57

No.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 28/04/2018 10:12

No, it wouldn't flatter your figure at all.

Oddbutnotodd · 28/04/2018 11:16

It’s cheap for a reason!

wonderwoman1981 · 28/04/2018 11:54

I agree it's probably not the best for an hourglass. Looks better for an apple or straight figure with good legs. I am considering this one (on another thread) because I think this style is perfect for hourglass or pear shapes.
