For a holy communion looking for shoes, bag & jewellery

I think it's lovely but far too revealing for a holy communion in a church!

You can’t wear that for a First Holy Communion I’m afraid. Lovely dress though

Gorgeous for a cocktail party, not so much for church... Do you have a wrap or pashmina you could wear during the service?

I’m an atheist and I wouldn’t wear that to church!

I went to the first holy communion of a group of 8yo's and there were loads of dresses like that...the priest later described it as a "circus".

Personally I wouldn't wear a dress like that before 6pm.

And then go for minimalist jewellery and either black heals or purple/red heels.

I'd style it with a blouse.

You need a jacket at the very least!

That's not actually me in the dress, I'm ordering the dress and was just image I found online! My boobs are not that big so figured I wouldn't be falling out of it!

I have other events to go to so could wear for those instead of not for communion

Who would you style for different event?

Definitely a jacket, one that you aren't planning on taking off.

And probably a scarf for the church.

And low heels, you need something to counterbalance the lace.

But if it's a party party (like these things end up being in our family) then the dress is fine, as Long as you're covered up until the priest leaves!
