Which one for this evening?

I'm off to a friends 40th Birthday drinks/dinner in a nice pub this evening.

It's not a very dressy up affair, and the weather is a bit shite so thought I'd stick to jeans and a nice top.

So which would you say? The black jeans with pink shoes, or light blue jeans with wedgie sandals?

I'm leaning towards the black jeans as they look a bit more dressy, but wanted to see what the MN S&B oracle thinks.

Btw if both look wrong then I'm fine to hear that too!
