I'm off to NYC whenever I go I get over excited in Walgreens and CVS and come home with far too much stuff.

This time I want to make a list, I don't need much, a good vitamin C (Ole truth serum?) has anyone used Drunk Elephant?

What must I not leave the States without?!

I have. I bought it in sephora. Not hugely impressed. It hasn't made much (any difference) to my skin. Tbh most stuff you can buy over her now.

Teeth whitening strips!

If I had that chance I would be straight to Sephora to test out Milk Makeup in real life. It’s available online here but reasonably pricy. I’m really intrigued by their blur sticks.

Also, I went to New York in December and found a few hidden gems in China Town and Korea Town, little places full of sheet masks and other Korean skincare. The best were The Face Shop in Korea Town and a tiny little place called oo35mm in Chinatown which is a real gem. It’s also around the corner from the Glossier showroom which I would highly recommend!

QueenOfIce · 28/04/2018 12:56

Oh yes teeth whitening strips! Is glossier actually any good? I've seen the hype but I no longer trust the reviews given they're all now called 'influencers' and get paid to rave about products.

I like skincare made by companies who just do skincare nothing else.

I bought loads of Glossier stuff in the US, before they shipped to UK.

Most of it, I was meh about. But Boybrow, I buy again and again.

I always enjoy a binge in Target. They have loads of excellent sheet face masks, Miss Spa and Yes To are great and I like the super cheap ELF brushes.

I also buy at least 10 Essie nail varnishes every time I go.

I'm not sure that the USA is the skincare capital it used to be we have some brilliant products in the U.K. now.

Elf are a pretty good brand though so I'll be having a look at their brushes along with Morphe.

I like a couple of la Roche Posay products that you can’t get yet in uk yet (although I think cleanser is available somewhere online) www.laroche-posay.us/toleriane-double-repair-moisturizer-3337875545792.html#video/0/
