Is anyone else a bit irritated with sezane?

Nothing ever in stock. What's the point of having lovely photos of lovely things that you style to look like some idyllic holiday paradise, and getting loads of bloggers to upload photos of themselves wearing the stuff to instagram When nothing is ever actually in stock? Is it meant as some kind of marketing experiment I don't understand?

Discovered your post after doing a search for 'sezane' to see if I could find anyone else who thought they not living up to the hype. I reckon the brand has exploded and they can't keep up with demand. I ordered quite a few things in the last couple of weeks, my first time ordering from them and was not impressed with the quality of some of the garments. Loose threads and seams that looked rushed. Not what i'd expect from garments at that price point. One of the tops was so creased that it looked like it lay under a pile of other clothes for a long time before being sent out without being steamed first. I won't be purchasing again tbh.

You need to be ready to order when a new collection drops - ie 10am on a sunday morning.

I quite like the fact that they don't seem to produce too much of anything as means not everyone is wearing it.

I've returned a few bits but got a couple of lovely silk dresses of the type I just can't find on the uk high street.

Actually just looked at my emails and new collection drops on may 2nd.

I've given up. I love their clothes and jewellery but seeing as I can't ever buy it I've stopped following them on Instagram and checking their website.

They had a drop last week one day at 10 - I looked at maybe 1020 and all of the dresses I liked had gone. I can't be bothered with that

I’ve given up too. Lovely clothes but life is too short!

I'm irritated with Sézane as their sizing is ridiculous. I would say I'm a 10 in vanity sizing (Hush, Boden). I ordered a load of dresses as I need something for a christening and everything was way too big. I ended up having to put another order in to get 8s which fit no problem.

Yes it is irritating that so much is out of stock. I agree you need to be quick when the stuff comes out. I have to say the quality is great and the stuff is so much nicer than what's on the high street at the moment.

mrscampbellblackreturns · 28/04/2018 16:12

chloe - I find their sizing very variable - I am an 8 in some dresses but then needed a 12 in a jumpsuit and their jeans are very small.

But agree the stuff is lovely

Bear in mind that the collections launch at 10am French time which is an hour ahead so you need to be on the website at 9am UK time.
I have bought quite a lot from there in the past couple of years, mostly lovely silk and cotton shirts plus a couple of nice dresses. I ordered a dress from the recent spring collection but it was v disappointing as the fabric felt very poor quality and crumpled and the buttons kept coming undone. Perhaps the fast expansion means quality control has slipped?

I agree stuff sells out fast which is annoying but it must be a marketing ploy.

I got a jumper recently and was impressed with the quality: lovely and soft and a dream to wear. I also recieved a free, gorgeous beach bag which was a nice touch.
So I'm still a fan.
