I've had Laura Mercier and MAC but at over £25 each a 50ml tube, it's not very sustainable and you can no longer get the MAC one on duty free.
Any decent high street ones?

No 7 Intelligent Colour Foundation is worth checking out although strictly speaking it's a bronzer. No 7 may also have something which is officially a tinted moisturiser, but if not, they have a CC cream. However, I mix the intelligent colour into their Essentially Natural Foundation and it's very, very sheer, which I like. I used to love Clinique's Almost Makeup which was effectively a tinted moisturiser, but they stopped doing it. The No 7 Essentially Natural Foundation is the closest thing I can get to it.

Rathkelter · 26/04/2018 23:43

Thanks I'll try the No7. What's the difference between CC and tinted moisturiser?

Boots No 7 is the only tinted moisturiser that doesn't make my eyes feel
Like they are bleeding. Love it.

Oh and the Bare Minerals one but that is much more expensive.

reetgood · 27/04/2018 00:07

Mineral tinted moisturisers are the business. I loved the Jane Iredale tinted moisturiser but it’s pricy. I currently use Estée Lauder mineral tinted moisturiser. Both look like I’m not wearing anything, I just look like I’ve slept ;) I’m fair skinned with combination skin, in my mid thirties.

No 7 do a good B.B. cream which is like tinted moisturiser

VanillaSugar · 27/04/2018 10:55

The no7 intelligent colour is a bronzer???? Where do you apply it? No wonder I end up looking like I’ve walked out of a sunbed lounge when I wear it Grin

tobee · 27/04/2018 16:31

What's the actual name of that Estée Lauder product called please @reetgood ?

Sweetheart · 27/04/2018 16:35

I use No 7 lift and luminate foundation but it is very light and more like a tinted moisturiser.

Biologifemini · 27/04/2018 18:23

Erborian cc cream has a very limited colour choice but I love it and it has a texture that perfects my skin.
The only difference between tinted moisturiser and cc cream is the marketing but I gather the latter is a fraction lighter on the skin. So you could just dilute a tinted moisturiser and stick it on the skin.

Thanks for all your replies.

Allthatmalarky, do you mean the No7 intelligent colour bronzer? There is a foundation and they also do a bronzer in a small tube. I've been told you can mix this with foundation but am wondering how it will turn out. I am interested in your post as I use the essentially natural too and think its very nice and not too heavy. Which shade do you use and mix the bronzer with it? I have cool ivory. I spoke to the sales girl about going a shade darker with summer coming up but she said its best to buy just one foundation and mix the bronzer with it to make it darker and then you're not buying two foundations in different shades. I also used to use Clinique almost make up and loved it and was gutted when they discontinued it.

Crispbutty · 28/04/2018 15:52

Garnier skin active B.B. cream is fantastic.

tigerteeth · 28/04/2018 16:02

I really like the tinted moisturiser in the M&S Autograph range - might be worth a try

fishonabicycle · 28/04/2018 17:37

No 7 city light tinted moisturiser is good!

BagelGoesWalking · 28/04/2018 20:17

You could try this - tinted sunscreen?

Find me a good tinted moisturiser please
auberginesrus · 28/04/2018 20:42

I have just more or less finished a tube of the Bobbi Brown one, but didn't think it was worth the price, although nice. The Bare Minerals on is lovely but also quite pricey.

Olay BB cream is OK, and i Have a Kiko one which although a nice shade is just not quite moisturising enough for me.

My absolutely favourite was a soap and glory one which has now been discontinued, which was really liquid and sheer and looked amazing on.

DairyisClosed · 28/04/2018 20:42

Play cc cream is not baf

DairyisClosed · 28/04/2018 20:43

Olay

Inneedofglasses · 28/04/2018 20:47

I like olay one too but it is definitely better when mixed 50:50 with the total effects untinted moisturiser

sanitygirl · 28/04/2018 20:54

I've tried loads cheap and expensive and I like the Garnier BB cream best

allthatmalarkey · 29/04/2018 11:30

@citygirl1961 sorry to take so long. I'm really pale and I use cool ivory too. I mix a tiny splodge of the light intelligent colour bronzer with it most of the time - not always in the winter when I'm palest. It's about 1 part bronzer to 4 parts foundation. It's lovely and sheer and doesn't take long. The intelligent colour has this quality which makes it spread extremely thinly and it sort of thins the foundation and makes that go on really easily too. I love it. Interested in the other No 7 foundation someone else has mentioned too, now.

citygirl1961 · 29/04/2018 11:48

Allthatmalarky, thanks for this, its interesting. Do you use the bronzer as a blusher too? I think this might be a better idea than using a tinted moisturiser as you can have your exact colour match and tweak it at different times of the year, whereas TMs can be either too light or too dark. No7 do tinted moisturiser which they changed and doesn't get as good reviews as the original one, they also do a BB cream but the essentially natural foundation is their lightest actual foundation and the cheapest x

Andcake · 29/04/2018 17:39

Garnier bb here to. Love it!

allthatmalarkey · 01/05/2018 06:38

@citygirl1961 I don't use it like that, but it might work for you. Although it might not look like you'd done anything at all, it is really sheer. I think it's worth getting some to play around with. It lasts for ages. I have used it in its own a long time ago, but I probably wouldn't now as I'm happy mixing it. The B.B. cream or the tinted moisturiser might be a better better for that if you don't want to mix.

I use the intelligent colour foundation - ie the one in the big bottle. Sales woman has called it a bronzer before which I can see describes how you use it because it just adds a little bit of colour, in a way it's far too sheer to call it a foundation. But I can see they now have an actual bronzer too in a small package. No idea what that's like.

stopfuckingshoutingatme · 03/05/2018 21:52

La Roche posay efflacor - £16
Love it
