Neutral work heels - what’s in fashion?

I need a new pair of neutral coloured heels for work (law firm) that go with lots of colours.
I have a pair of nude patent LK Bennett heels but they are really past their best. Should I replace them like for like? Seems a bit 2011 / Duchess of Cambridge?
The other thing I’ve seen is rose pink suede but am dubious about their longevity/ ability to go with lots of colours.
Any ideas?

I used to work in city law and i don't think anyone would have blinked an eye at metallic pointed heels - go with everything and a little funkier than nude? Will try to find a pic or two!

My preference is gold but silver/pewter also could look great.

Oh my goodness they’re amazing! You’re right - no one would blink, except in awe!
The only problem is I really can’t do a pointed toe due to stupid rectangular feet, so will have to hunt down a gold almond or round toe...
