Goodbye to Boots 17???

Sorry if this has already been mentioned. Is it true it is all being discontinued? Admittedly I don't tend to use the stuff now but did as a teen. had a few lipsticks I liked but that was about it. This is probably why it is going as people think the same about it. I rarely see teens surrounding it (unlike every other make up stand!)

I saw something about it but thought it was just one product.

Oh well, as I said I don't really use it now- just got nostalgic. Still missing Outdoor Girl and Miners!!!

oh god, now I have to rush down there and buy my favourite eyeliner and eye palett (which I actually use as a blusher/ bronzer) in bulk. Can't live without either one!

Nooooo. I loved their stuff as a teen/early 20something! Still occasionally buy something from there: their face powder is really cheap and really decent.

Hi I work at Boots, the 17 stands are being removed from stores at the moment but the range will be available on boots.com for the next year. After that the brand will be discontinued... so stock up now!

I think the whole YouTube & IG makeup tutorial thing has killed it and the other cheaper brands a bit because instead of looking for a foundation teens now look for a particular one or brand someone is pushing.

I love it and have used it for years. Have stocked up on their fab eyeliner and more. Boots CYO (create your own) will be out soon.

They sent me a free sample of the CYO mascara via my Advantage card as I buy 17 "Dolled Up" constantly. Haven't tried it yet though, but it was a nice touch.

Can honesty say I’ve never brought a 17 product that I liked. And I’ve brought quite a few bits, foundations mascaras primers etc. All crap.

The cheaper No 7 on the other hand... I really like their liquid concealer l!

Can anyone recommend what else I should stock up on please. I love their lipsticks but there wasn't much left.

Kreiger No17 is the cheaper one, No7 is the pricier one with its own counter (usually).

Is CYO a Boots own brand then? They arrived into my store lately but I have never heard of them tbh.

Their under eye concealer is excellent and the nude blusher I once got as a free gift is the best blusher I’ve ever used

I guess their branding just isn’t relevant anymore. People may be put off buying it as it’s “aimed” at teens, and teens arnt buying it because they’re all buying high end stuff these days

Sadly so. I'm stocking up on my favourite lipsticks! BYO have already annoyed me, I saw a stand in a Boots in London, and hardly any of it is sealed (unlike Seventeen.) I hate that! The packaging looks fairly similar to Seventeen as well.

I am going to look for the nude blusher tomorrow and get more lipsticks.

Ohhh! Then I’m gutted! I think the cheaper one is better than the dear one!

Just had a look on the website and everything is being sold at pretty discounted prices.

Unfortunately my local Boots has a refurb recently and scrapped the Seventeen counter so I can’t look in store. That should have been the first sign something was amiss 😢

I've stocked up on concealer, it's only £1.19.

I hadn't heard of CYO, I'd been wondering what would be stocked in 17's place as it took up half of one side of an aisle in my local store.

I got CYO foundation and lip stain and they're bloody marvellous. Very impressed for the price.

Ah shit, just when you find a nice foundation they bloody go and discontinue it. I love No 7 bit gutted about that.

Is No7 staying?
