Minimalist Mascara Recommendations

I don't usually wear make up but I'm starting to want to wear just a little (because DD2 does not sleep and my face reflects that!)

I think I've nailed everything else now for a minimal "touched up" sort of look but I cannot seem to find a mascara I like.

I already have dark long curled lashes, they're just a little thin. I have slightly buggy eyes so adding additional curl looks really bad. I just want something that adds a little thickness, with minimal length or curl. I want to avoid clumps like the plague too. Really, I just want something to make my eye lashes look a bit fuller but still like my lashes IYSWIM. All this super length/volume/bold etc is useless to me!

Does anyone have any recommendations?

I also have long lashes and I like Benefit Bad Girl. I usually wipe most of it off the brush with a tissue and then apply. Those lengthening mascaras make me look like Aunt Sally.

I have a YSL one for daywear that is excellent. Very light, definitely not clumpy.

My mistake - it's Yves Rocher

Rimmel one with argan oil sounds like it would fit the bill

Sounds like you need Clinique Naturally Glossy mascara. I've used it for years. It's great for sensitive eyes and it's really minimal and natural looking. No clumps. Easy to remove.

Soap and Glory's “thick and fast” works for me.
