looking for an ankle length dress

I'm after a reasonably structured ankle length dress for work but all I can find is sort of floaty ones.

I want something that will go with both biker boots and heeled ankle boots as the gap between a calf length one and boots really doesn't suit me.

I've looked in all the obvious places (Reiss, Whistles, Mango) but I just can't find anything that is exactly what I'm after.

Fabric could be linen although would prefer something that hold its shape but isn't a bodycon one.

Argh - it's quite prescriptive I know but surely there is something out there?!

Have you had a look at warehouse? They have some really nice midi dresses at the moment, some quite structured. They’re having a bit of a moment for me right now!

EI had a dress a bit like that in the 80s

Is that a good thing or a bad thing

I guess it has a bit of a Howard’s way vibe, but that’s ok by me- I spent the 80s in Jersey rara skirts
