Pixi glow tonic

....does anyone use? Is it any good? My skin looks so dull just now and this seems to promise a bit of a pep up, but £20 seems a lot for what is essentially a toner...

whispers I didn’t really see a difference.

I have generally very good, robust skin. Pixie Glow Tonic turned it into an aggrevated, angry, red, burning mess Shock. Stopped using it after a few goes and it's now languishing in a drawer somewhere.

I'd say save your money go for the Nip+Fab Glycolic Cleansing pads instead. I use one daily and my skin has never looked better. Fresh and glowy and revitalised.

RiskIt4Biscuit · 26/04/2018 09:26

I used it years ago and was happy with it - but thinking back, I don't think it did very much.

I now use Alpha-H Liquid Gold (every other day) which I think makes more of a difference.

Glaciferous · 26/04/2018 09:37

I use it and really like it. It gets rid of the occasional flaky patch really quickly. I have tried the Nip+Fab pads too and they are also good.

Superdrug do a Glycolic toner, it’s really good. Not tested on animals or sold in China.

Hmm, I've got an hour to kill in a massive Boots now whilst I wait for my car to be serviced... I'll have a good scout round and a butchers at the nip+fab stuff...thanks all

I have the Pixi glow but feel the Superdrug Radiant Glycolic acid pads did more for me, I also use Indeed Retinol Reface which for my skin is fabulous 😀

EweDoEwe · 26/04/2018 13:23

Pixie Glow does nothing for me, it sfairky weak.

I use Bravura Calendula toner but you can only buy it online.

HildaZelda · 26/04/2018 14:43

Pixi Glow did absolutely nothing for me. I thought it was a complete waste of money.

AnaViaSalamanca · 26/04/2018 14:50

absolutely useless for me

smallmole · 26/04/2018 15:07

I got it as a gift, so I don't know how much it was, but I don't think it's worth buying again - I've noticed no difference at all.

BobbinThreadbare123 · 26/04/2018 15:11

Pixi Glow was far too expensive for nothing much. I've gone back to Clinique which, although pricey, lasts longer and shows a benefit.

Miserablemouse · 26/04/2018 15:19

Going against the grain here - I really like glow tonic! It definitely works for me.
Not a fan of Liquid Gold personally. Find it stings and doesn't do anything.

TheLastNigel · 26/04/2018 16:24

Nip+fab all half price in boots so I got some glycolic fix liquid glow for £7.50. I'll see how I go on with that...

I use it and really like it. After a couple of weeks away from home not using it I could really see the difference, much duller skin. I found it better than the Clarins Liquid Exfoliator and I now rarely bother with the painful grainy microdermabrasion stuff I used to swear by.

I tend to buy it in M&S so will wait for a 20% off toiletries sparks offer when I need more.
