Can I dye grey suede boots black?

I bought a pair of grey boots in the sales thinking it was a bargain (for the quality) at £120. But now I’m regretting it because the colour simply doesn’t go with anything! No wonder they were on sale!

Is it possible to dye them black? And how can I do it without compromising the quality?

Sorry, I meant to say that the reason I mention that they were £120 is that that is a seriously massive amount for me to waste on a pair of impulse buy boots that I can’t wear.

Lesson learned that just because something is 50% off, doesn’t mean it still isn’t way too much to spend.

If I could turn the clock back and not buy them I would. But I did and I’m trying to make the most of a silly decision.

Yes. Fiebings suede due is the one you want, available on Amazon. Excellent brand for leather transformation....ive used their products myself...the key is prep, prep, prep (and latex gloves to protect hands!) plenty of YouTube tutorials too. If you go for it I'd love to see before and after pics.

Deerdear you use the one specially for suede. You can also check out the purseforum for renovation info (on bags obvs but same thing). I used fiebings dye to colour change a Chanel handbag with excellent results. Read up, prep like mad and watch lots of tutorials before taking the plunge. You will be fine!
