What colour of bag with red dress?

Going to a wedding in June. Wearing a red dress (knee length, short sleeves). Shoes - will wear nude sling-back heels. But what colour of bag? I want it to be smart and summery but also slightly practical - a teeny clutch won't do the job.

What would work?

Clash. Shocking pink, orange, purple.

Leopard print - ASOS have a gorgeous clutch or a mid pink would look absolutely amazing.

Thinking along the same lines Sock, how about this one? As they’re handmade, I’m sure you could ask for a strap.

I love the idea of something bright, and hadn't thought of it. Pink!! Not sure about navy accessories for summer, though can see red and navy could work well in principle. I have a reddish-orange dress that I wear to work with navy tights and shoes, and a navy/white scarf - keen on that. But want something a bit more frivolous for a midsummer wedding.

Oo that bag would work really well bloomers, the orange detailing is great.

After reading that article I'm really feeling the mid tone pink with the red. Definitely ticks the boxes for fun/frivolous too.
