Thank you so much. Tried to find the thread I started but couldn't.

Went today for my make up doing and I love it so much. Have spent quite a bit but it really is lovely stuff. I have foundation, mascara, eye shadow palatte, highligher fixing thing, long wear eyeshadow base and a lip gloss plus a couple of free skin care samples.

Am skint but happy!

Might have been me (although I’m sure others did aswell). I adore BB, I’m totally addicted!! Wonderful to hear you had an amazing time 😀

Hello Fruby Smile

I also spent a lot of money at Bobbi Brown for bridal makeup etc but didn’t get any samples etc (over £450). How much did you spend to qualify for samples?

I’ve told a few friends about my Bobbi Brown purchases and they were all really surprised I hadn’t been given any sort of sample/gift.

wizzywig · 29/04/2018 19:10

I splurged on bb stuff for a big occasion. Its lasts for ages. Their bb cream is brilliant for me (i usually use heavy coverage foundation). Now i can use the bb cream as a moisturiser and i no longer need foundation

StripeBee · 29/04/2018 19:18

Sorry Frouby! Misspelt your name!

StripeBee · 29/04/2018 19:21

Hi wizzypig! I think it will be occasional use for me so it’ll probably last forever or pinched by my sisters. I can’t wear makeup with work due to time constraints, sweating and having to wear white.

Frouby · 29/04/2018 21:39

stripebee I spent £130 in store and then another £60 online. I got some eyecream and some moisturiser in store and clear lip gloss with my online stuff plus 15% discount.

Am trying it all out tomorrow. Just to practise for the wedding.

It will last me forever too. I rarely wear make up but obviously when I am a married woman I will turn into a well groomed, well turned out laydee instead of looking like a bag lady covered in mud and ds dinner and snot or horse hair and horse snot. Not to mention I will also update my wardrobe from consisting of pony clothes/allotment/dog walking clothes to fashionable yet subtle and stylish clothes.

No idea what they might be tho. Best book a personal shopper too. Grin

I was married in 2005 and had a Bobbi makeover and it was amazing. I still adore buying something special for myself from them and worth every penny.

Frouby · 30/04/2018 08:50

Right.

Have had a go myself this morning. Quite pleased with the result considering I rarely wear make up and had a 4 year old supervising by jumping on the bed at this side of me and trying to nick bits.

Excuse flat to head hair, ran out of time to do it properly. What do you think?

Won't be that lip colour, only one I had and couldnt stretch to a BB one as I never wear lippy even if I do wear make up.

I think you look lovely, really pretty make up

Gonegrey31 · 30/04/2018 11:22

You have done a great job and look lovely
When you can manage it, I love BB’s Sandwash pink as a neutral and long lasting lipstick

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 30/04/2018 11:28

I like the lippy colour.
You have lovely skin. Make up is flattering and natural.
I would say that the under eye liner on right eye is a little heavy, the left eye looks much nicer

Frouby · 30/04/2018 11:54

Thanks all

Will keep practising until wedding. I think the right eyebrow is a bit heavy too Breakfast. Much prefer the left eye.

Am really pleased with it all tho. Was worried I wouldnt get it anything like the MUA in bb so pleased it.looks pretty simiar for a first attempt. Especially considering I only had 10 minutes and DS 'helping' me too.

Need to raid DDs lippys, she has some lovely neutral ones and it can be my something borrowed.
