I need a new serum for my normal to dry 46 year old skin. Have just finished some Avon Anew I bought when it was on offer at Christmas, which I quite liked but wasn't bowled over by. Have also got some The Ordinary Buffet which is OK but not marvellous.

What can I get that won't break the bank?

The Aldi ones are meant to be brilliant

I've just bought and started using the Naturally Radiant one from superdrug. It's the 2 in 1 moisturiser and serum. Down to £2.95 just now. I'm quite liking it.

Nip+Fab Dragon's Blood serum £19, but I usually buy it when it's on sale and buy enough for about six months at a time.

Superdrug simply pure serum, only £2.99 is lovely, fragrance free too. They also do a night version, £3.99. Both on buy one get second half price at the mo

Apologies, guess this is the same as the naturally hydrating one mentioned above!

There is a lovely Vit C one in the body shop-feels like you're rubbing silk on to your face!

Thanks all - the nip fab one is half price at boots at the moment so might give that a whirl

I was just coming on to recommend the Nip Fab one, it's ace. Thanks for the heads up that it's on offer, I'll stock up!
