Perfect black jodhpur ankle boots

Okay okay: I know they’re the new mum boots... but it has come to my attention that this is the item I need to fulfill about 50% of my work outfits.

Some lovely ones in Clarks but they gape at the back of my skinny ankles. I’m looking for neat little almond toed or pointy toed ones that your nice Parisian mum friend might wear, as opposed to clumpy ones. Any recommendations?

Bit £££ but Cordings do some lovely ankle boots with a slim but round your actual ankle

I have sparrow legs and really struggle with boots gaping but these are perfect on me.
Not quite jodphur boots but smart enough for office wear and the comfiest boots I have ever owned. Currently on sale Debenhams online

They aren't clumpy in my opinion. Pic makes them look like DMs but they are nothing like DMs

Look at actual jodhpurs boots ariat or Toggi otherwise Dubarry/ Fairfax and Favor depending on your budget.

Those are lovely OP. I recently bought Joules Westbourne black spot chelsea boots. I'd never have ordered online but saw them in a shop and tried them on and loved them. Really comfortable and a great shape.

Is a jodhpur boot the same as a Chelsea boot? I’ve never heard of them before..

I think they probably are the same?
