Bronze Goddess alternative

I like the coconut/summery notes in Estee Lauder's Bronze Goddess but find it overpoweringly sweet.

Looking for alternatives which will still give that "sun tan lotion" vibe without smelling like a sweet shop

Jil Sander Sun is amazing, altho' not that easy to get hold of. I got mine duty free at Amsterdam airport for €20 - I like a bargain. It's replaced bronze goddess for me

Next do a version of bronze goddess too but i found the scent only lasted 5 mins on me.

Le labo Lys 41 smells like gorgeous expensive sunscreen to me! It’s very white flowers heavy though, so avoid if you aren’t a tuberose fan.

I wear Bronze Goddess, but also wear this. It's also more minty!

What I Did On My Holidays - sea shore, suntan lotion, mint rock and ice cream – our childhood beach hols.

The next one, summer sun I think it’s called, is lovely - it’s more a dupe of tom Ford soliel blanc, which bronze goddess is very similar to. I don’t find it as sweet as bronze goddess.

@justaweeone where do you buy/smell and how much is it please? Love a good summery perfume.

Bunty great tip re: next Perfume. I have a FB of 4160 Tuesdays WIDOMH. I love it but only wear it in summer. It’s minty, coconut sea breeze with vanilla ice cream - weird but in a very good way! It’s so refreshing. I think mumsnet is planning a Q&Q thread with the perfumer Sarah so look out for it.
