Please recommend me a chypre!

I seem to have accumulated various bottles of rather sweet florals (presents from various people), which I love in their own way, but my favourite perfume was a bergamot-based one that is now discontinued.

I do not have a huge amount to spend, alas.

Get your message transferred to the Perfumista thread, and be prepared for a gazillion ideas. We love a nice chypre, and like nothing better than giving advice!
