Anyone pay for weekly blow dry?

I'm crap at drying my curly hair, always have been. Just wondering whether to get a regular professional blow dry. Does anyone do this? What do you pay? Do you wash your hair before you go?

This is near the top of my list of things I'd spend a lottery win on! I think I'd do wealth better in the little ways, regular blow dries, clothes professionally dry-cleaned and tailored etc.

I feel and look miles better when I have a good blowdry. I did massively improve my DIY version with a Paralux dryer and a natural bristle round brush but it's still not as good as a salon.

If you can afford it then yes! I'd love this.

As someone who used to work in a hairdressers we had plenty of older lady regulars who quite simply couldn't wash or dry their own hair.

£9.99 in the Styler salons in south London (several of them) for shoulder length hair or shorter.

My neighbour's husband is a hairdresser and he often treats her to a blow dry at home. Her hair looks fantastic. Sometimes I wish I was married to a hairdresser.

Hmmmm so I called my local salon and its £17!!! So until I have a bit of a lottery win I'm going to have to get better at this myself. Youtube videos were helpful - i CAN do this!!

On the back of this thread I watched a couple of videos and got up early this morning and made an extra effort and my hair does look much better 😄

User I'm really glad! Well done on the hair! I'm treating myself to a round brush then having another crack at it.

I used to when I was a working mother. My hair takes ages to wash and style and I was short on time in the evenings so used to get a wash and blow dry during my lunch hour...loved it!
