Footwear for city touring holiday

I'll be doing a mix of city walking and some national park trail walking, but easy trails that are well maintained. I've read reviews of the trails that say trainers are fine. I'd like to just take one pair for both situations ideally.

I'd also like them to look fairly nice. In the city I'd be teaming them with slim/skinny trousers or knee length shorts, a nice top or t-shirt and a cardigan or jersey-blazer. I was thinking plain black trainers maybe, but primary importance is comfort for lots of walking.

Does anyone have any recommendations please?

Skechers?

Look at the Clarks 'Tri' range, maybe? Really light and comfortable.

Otherwise, just black Nikes might be good?

Bloke trainers if your feet are big enough - better made and avoid the pink tax . Black not good if somewhere warm.

Thanks everyone. I like the look of those Clarks Tri shoes - they get good reviews. Good point about black in the heat; I hadn't thought of that!
