Moshulu wedge sandals (peach melba 2)

I ordered a pair of these Moshulu wedge sandals www.moshulu.co.uk/peach-melba-2-t-bar-wedge-sandals.html

A bit expensive (for me), but I'm starting with arthritis in big toe joint, podiatrist recommended wedges with a rigid sole, so I thought I'd give them a try.

They aren't exactly my usual taste (t-bar) but omg they are so comfy!

Would recommend

How do they come up size wise? I reckon I am so true size 5.5. In shoes and boots I would err towards a 39 rather than a 38 when buying in European sizing but worried that a 39 in sandals would be too big.
