Comfortable sandals

Please help! I’m going to Florida on 3rd May and can’t find any comfortable sandals for walking. So I have:

Merrell - rub my foot near the ankle where the sandal adjusts
Saltwater - comfortable but not enough give in the sole to walk all day
Birkenstock Gizeh - the same as the Saltwaters and also rub between my toes
Fitflops - comfortable but start to rub between my toes

I don’t want to wear trainers and socks all day but it’s lookimg as though I may have to!

I love my Teva sandals. I have both fabric and leather original sandals. They're very comfortable and I always get compliments when I wear them

duriandurian · 21/04/2018 15:53

Teva or Birkenstock Bali (with ankle strap)

KarenW · 21/04/2018 15:55

Rykers sandals every time.

blodynmawr · 21/04/2018 16:02

Fitflop Bon. No breaking in required, no blisters after 2 full days' wear and like walking on air Smile.

DeathlyPail · 21/04/2018 16:04

I did 2 weeks in Florida wearing Sketchers Go Walk Sandals

No blisters, no pain

PearsandCustard · 21/04/2018 16:08

I also love my Teva sandals. I have leather ones, they're never off my feet in summer and I do a lot of walking, they're very comfortable.

katplva · 21/04/2018 16:11

I have similar issues and I can only wear sandals with no toe post. I have Merrells and fitflops and find both very comfortable. Could you use a plaster or foot cream when wearing your Merrells? Or try a fitflops style with no toepost?

BalloonFlowers · 21/04/2018 16:16

Earth Spirit sandals -debenhams and Amazon usually.
Or just had to buy a pair in desperation, and naturalistia are like waking on air, if you can get them in the UK.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/04/2018 16:16

I'm planning on trying these on. I like their ugliness and think they would be comfortable and work well with both dresses and shorts.

BalloonFlowers · 21/04/2018 16:21

Sorry, naturalistic are available in the UK, and are ok.
My walking on air ones are Naturalizer.

mirage937 · 21/04/2018 16:23

i love my birkenstocks arizona and the eva version very comfortable, i walk a lot in them

cantkeepawayforever · 21/04/2018 16:25

Josef Seibel Debra.

The ugliest, but mst comfortable, sandals ever.

I also have another of their styles, equally comfortable but slightly less ugly. Sadly, that seems to have been discontinued, while the Debra marches on!

cantkeepawayforever · 21/04/2018 16:31

Seibel Lisa 03 is the other style I have had, and some places still seem to have those (NOT Lisa 01, they're different). They may not fit, as they can't be adjusted, but the sole is good (I teach, so spend all my time on my feet)

DarkBlueEyes · 21/04/2018 16:54

I did two weeks in Orlando alternating two pairs of sandals, Clarks Flex Un and a pair of Timberland padded sole sandals.

These look lush.

Mine were the older version of this one. www.clarks.co.uk/c/Un-Haywood/p/26133307

Although I thought they were a bit old lady I've had loads of compliments on them.

cad186 · 21/04/2018 16:57

Office hallie sandals!! There was a big thread about them the other day, they are so comfy

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 21/04/2018 17:13

Thank you all! I’ve ordered a pair of Fitflop Bon from Amazon as they were reduced and I’m going to try and get to Clarks tomorrow as I like the look of some of their sandals.

Was coming on to say fit flop sliders, but now I'll have to check out fit flop Bon! Sliders are great though, I converted to them this year after years of their normal fit flops.

HoarseMackerel · 21/04/2018 17:41

I've got Karrimor Walking sandals for serious walks!
They are cheap and not particularly attractive but they never rub, even if new.

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 22/04/2018 17:26

Thanks to everyone for your suggestions. I spent ages in Clarks this morning and ended up buying these:

Botanic Rose

I also tried and ordered these:

Arla Jacory
Un Haywood

Hopefully out of this lot something will be comfortable!

Good luck, I hope you find comfortable ones. I really like the Clarks Arla Jacory ones too, and I am trying to justify getting a pair...!

Oly5 · 22/04/2018 21:56

Moshulu wasabi sandals are the most comfy I’ve found.!

DarkBlueEyes · 23/04/2018 14:35

They all look fab. Happy days! New shooooooooes!

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 23/04/2018 19:20

Update!

Botanic Rose - very comfortable, I love them
Arla Jacory - a little bit tight, but the front strap is elastic so they have potential
Un Haywood - bloody ugly but very comfortable!

Whatthefoxgoingon · 23/04/2018 19:37
