interview shoes ...

Civil service interview next week. Mid-level. I'm OK with my interview outfit - grey knee-length tulip skirt, black top, black tights, pink patterned scarf, but which shoes? I don't possess high heels.

I have: flat black Mary Janes. Or block heel ankle boots, smart-looking, narrow at the ankle.

I regularly wear one or other of these with the same outfit at my current work. Both easy to walk in. Which is better for an interview?

The Mary Janes.

The Mary Jane's. Or a cheap pair of low heeled courts.

I’d do the boots.

Low heeled courts would be best, but failing that the Mary Jane's. I wouldn't wear boots.

The mary janes. It might be too hot for black tights though?

Thanks everybody - looks like the Mary Janes then. You'd think I could learn how to dress myself, eh?

Mary Janes. I was at a meeting in a government department last week, and I and the woman I was meeting were wearing identical Mary Janes Grin
