Can anyone recommend a good nail polish please?

I'd like one that adds a light colour and makes the ends look whiter. Rimmel used to do one called nail lightener I think but I haven't seen it in a long time. I want to add a bit of shine and make my nails look better while they grow. Thank you.

Dior nail glow.

Quite expensive for a nail varnish- but I found that it helped my nails look "done" for work. I can't have long nails for work, and need to wash hands frequently, so nail varnish (coloured) is either not appropriate or doesn't last.

I bought it about 12 months ago and I've still got about 1/3 of it left.

I find 3 coats on Sunday evening will usually last me through till Thurs and often Friday.
Over this winter my nails have flaked in layers- very frustrating.
So I've been doing a layer of OPI nail envy first, then nail glow on top.

Thank you. Mine are all quite short at the moment. They grow okay then I catch them and they snap. So I have to file them short.

Yes, same here. Just this winter.
As I say, I keep them short anyway, but the condition has been shocking.
At least with a nice clear varnish, they still look neat and professionally un-noticeable (if there's such a word).

I did hesitate at the Dior price for a nail varnish? but I do feel it was worth it.
I think I tried that Rimmel one also, but I have a feeling it went a bit gloopy after a few months.
It was lovely initially, mind.

Dior nail glow is the best one by miles but if you want something cheaper then Zoya naked manicure (check amazon) is more than decent.
