Gradual Tan - what’s your regime?

As title suggests, do you apply every day as a normal lotion? A couple of times a week, do you exfoliate? I am asking because I tend to do 2 thin coats on a Sunday, which gives a teeny colour, then again on a Weds, which adds a smidge more, so that I am not blindingly white. I want to go a deeper colour this year, not bronzed but look sun kissed but not sure how bathing and exfoliating will mean I will never get a deeper colour. I need a rota.

I think it depends which one you’re using. I’ve been using the St Tropez tinted gradual tanner and twice a week gives a really good glow for me with that one, that’s with exfoliating every other day.
I’ve just bought the Bondi Sands gradual mousse and have done one coat yesterday and will do another today after exfoliating. Looking at how it is after one coat I think this will be a bit darker than the St Tropez but is definitely a nicer colour.....not as orange.
