Cotton dresses?

Does anyone have any recommendations of where to look for cotton dresses?

I'd love trousers/shorts for the nice weather but the mum tum just doesn't look good and then I struggle to find nice tops long enough to cover that area!!

I find dresses I like but then the fabrics are always sweat-inducing.

m&s do cotton dresses, the fabric is lovely. maybe check next too? they used to do 100 % cotton

I have a couple of these dresses in Black and navy which are great for covering mum tum and wash well (no shrinkage) and are cool and comfy. They are inoffensive and unexciting but very practical. 96% cotton, 4% elastene. I have had mine for 4 and 3 years and they still look good.

If you look on the John Lewis page, one of the filters you can use is fabric so you can filter for only cotton dresses.

Thank you!

That Boden dress is really good.I had it in an orangy red for my birthday and it's really flattering

ArkAtEee · 20/04/2018 13:54

H&M is good for this.

Try Oliver Bonas

I have a few of the boden dresses in the first link. They make me look a little on the pregnant side. I wear them anyway because I love the fabric but they're not the best at disguising the tummy. I am thinking I might try having the front pleating altered.

SeaKrait · 20/04/2018 16:25

I have looked at those Boden dresses, but they are too low cut for me

That first Boden dress doesn't even look good on the model!

Next have good cotton/linen mix summer dresses. These are nice:

As people have already said class="underline">-aud-297679866873:kwd-317983741883&cclid=v3f4e38009-c751-5984-9864-720d42bc3c1e&gclid=Cj0KCQjwn-bWBRDGARIsAPS1svu5nUlY5mnsSXNXMSSEDrHyVUWEDbkkB7BBHbuoYF47461CUVAoaAvsoEALw_wcB Boden do a few cotton dresses, not just the casual jersey dress. I'm sure I've seen Dotty P's recommended as a good place for cotton dresses and they do allow you to search by fabric. NEXT seem to have a few cotton and linen dresses every summer. COS is good for natural fabrics as well.
