Fitflops & sketchers. Yay or nay?!

I'm after some comfy casual shoes with a bit of bounce but for some reason I do not like the look of fitflops and sketchers. They both have an air of 'crocs' about them.

Am I wrong?

Nay to Fit Flops - not as comfortable as they look!

Skechers - if you don’t like the look of them don’t get any - you’ll never take them off again. Too comfy.

I adore my Sketchers. They do so many different styles too, there's bound to be something you like.

I've only ever had one pair of Fitflops that were comfortable and I wore them to death.

Sketchers on the other hand are great and comfortable and wash well. However they are a bit old fashioned and seem to have gone a bit mass market recently. Saying that I managed to get a great pair of leather boots from them over the winter that I got loads of compliments on.

I don't like sketchers generally but they do a ballet pump style which is less frumpy than most of their styles, and they are super comfy for walking all day in! I want to say they're called 'go walk lite'??? Costco have them at the mo for under £30 which is a good price.

I love my fit flops and my skechers (I agree that some Skechers are absolutely hideous but they have some lovely normal trainer styles)

Nay to fit flops, they aren’t as comfy as I thought they would be and a nay for sketchers too, I do t have stinky feet but sketchers made mine hum

I love fit flops. So many different styles and so comfy.

I especially like their skater shoe and have many colours and textures.

Hmm there's just something about them I can't put my finger on, I'm not a trainer person normally but really need something comfy
