I have been applying Garnier's Summer Body lotion for the last couple of days and the palms of my hands are distinctly tan-coloured! How can I remove this, please?

Magic sponge from the pound shop

Nail varnish remover on a cotton pad. Works for blending any streaks too 👌🏻

Thanks so much!

Just asked a friend of mine whose a tanning queen...rub fresh lemons on your palms and then soak hands in warm water with the lemons for 10 mins palms facing down.

I find any whitening toothpaste works a treat removing fake tan on hands

Seconding lemon juice, but with bicarb...makes a super effective scrubbing paste.

Tan mitts are great of you keep applying op. Though you may know so might seem patronising but don't mean to be!

ShockShockShockShock Oh my God no, do not use a magic sponge or nail varnish remover on your skin, and definitely not lemons because it bleaches the skin and can cause irritation. Wash your hands with whitening toothpaste straight after putting the tan on.

@Namajesty seems to work fine for my friend who in addition to being a tanning queen is a beauty therapist by career. Lemon derivatives are in pretty much every beauty product...Origins, Clarins, Clinique, Elemis to name a few...
