Will we all be wearing long dresses and skinny jeans this summer?

Or is just M&S losing it as per usual?

That’s madness Grin I’ve no idea how M&S make money on clothing other than baby/ kids clothing.

HoneyDragon · 19/04/2018 20:33

It’s kike she tries the dress on over her jeans and someone papped her in the changing room Confused

If I go out like that people would be head tilting and asking me if I’m ok.

That looks like one of my mum's old maternity nighties from the 70s

vichill · 19/04/2018 20:37

They really have lost their minds.

FlaviaAlbia · 19/04/2018 20:40

That looks like a frilly apron she's put on to do housework in the 1950's.

I'm not sure removing the jeans would improve it much though.

tentontruck · 19/04/2018 20:49

I think someone must have stuck the jeans on her as a last ditch attempt to stop her looking like she's wearing a highly flammable nightie.

It clearly didn't work, look at her face. This isn't where she dreamed her modelling career would end up poor thing.

eloisesparkle · 19/04/2018 20:52

I saw that picture in M&S today and thought it looked daft Smile

That is proper minging. I have no IDEA why M & S are still going. They have been shit for more than a decade now. Who the fuck is buying their hideous, over-rated, over-priced, ghastly clothes? (AND their over-rated, over-priced foos?!)

I don't actually know anyone who shops there. Confused

hoopdeloop · 19/04/2018 21:08

Has nobody noticed the shoes GrinGrin

Idontdowindows · 19/04/2018 21:08

Oh look, it's the 80s! Grin

CauliflowerBalti · 19/04/2018 21:10

Dresses over jeans is not a new thing. I used to wear dresses over jeans about 15 years ago. It was a thing then. Don't knock it til you've tried it... (Though styled as per that photo - minging)

WinkyisbackontheButterBeer · 19/04/2018 21:11

I keep having this pop up. I can’t help but wonder who, on mumsnet, they are targeting with this advert. Confused

Ryder63 · 19/04/2018 21:11

I wear long, floaty tops or dresses over skinny jeans or jeggings, but I don't like the M&S one.

FlaviaAlbia · 19/04/2018 21:13

I hate to break it to you but it's Google advertising targeted to the user Winky not targeted to mumsnet. They clearly think it's very you WinkGrin

DozyDoates · 19/04/2018 21:18

Those shoes make her look like she has hooves.

hdh747 · 19/04/2018 21:34

That's me sticking some jeans under my nightie (before I pop a coat on top) to nip to the shop for emergency milk. Grin

adaline · 19/04/2018 21:34

Dresses over jeans used to be a big thing when I was teenager, maybe 14-15 years ago?

Not in that particular combination though!

TheCatFromOuterSpace · 19/04/2018 21:36

Dresses over trousers are fine. Just not that one!

Sammy900 · 19/04/2018 21:36

I was looking through the zara catalogue of new dresses this eve - some of them even the models cant make look nice...weird unflattering cuts and poke your eye out bold prints...it is a bit like the 80s again

LostInShoebiz · 19/04/2018 21:36

Sometimes my mum forgets to put the bins out. When she hears the bin men she pulls on trousers under her nightie and chucks on slip on shoes.

Who knew she was such a fashion plate!

Sammy900 · 19/04/2018 21:38

I like dresses over jeans but shorter dresses and different jeans just not like that

massi71 · 19/04/2018 21:46

It's a rip off of salwaar kameez daahlinks!

A traditional Asian look... that M&S are doing really shitty versions of Grin I wear skinnies with lawn cotton kameez's that look brill together

WinkyisbackontheButterBeer · 19/04/2018 21:46

FlaviaAlbia Goodness! They have clearly never had to look at me.
How very strange. It’s not a website I’ve ever even heard of!

I mean, she looks like it’s eating them !!
